Does anyone know if a 510YTB22 will work in Sanyo 20EZ tube swap. It looks to have the same pins as a 510UTB22, but I do not find this tube listed in the B&K manual.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Did I get this right?

Did I get this right?
Ok so based on the info I found in the link, the monitor will no work because the pinout is not the same.

510YTB22 pinout from the sampo manual is:

K1 Red
K2 Green
K3 Blue
K4 Ground
K5+ Vertical sync pulse
K6+ Horizontal sync pulse

11 Ground
12- Vertical sync pulse
13- Horizontal sync pulse

510UTB22 pinout from the Atari EZV manual is:

Pin 1 Green
Pin 2 Red
Pin 3 Blue
Pin 4 Ground
Pin 5 Ground
Pin 6 Negative Composite sync

Pin 1 100VAC
Pin 2 No Connection
Pin 3 Neutral

You're confusing the tube with the chassis. The Sampo chassis the 20EZ chassis are not swappable. You asked about swapping the tube, meaning you keep the 20EZ chassis, pull the yoke off of the 20EZ tube and put it onto this 510YBT22 tube, then put the 20EZ chassis on.

In the case of a tube swap, the 510YBT22 tube would have this pinout:

Kr - Pin 7
Kg - Pin 9
Kb - Pin 4
Focus - Pin 1
Screen Voltage - Pin 8
Ground - Pin 10
Heater voltage may be on Pin 5 with Pin 6 tied to ground.

The tube pinout for the 20EZ doesn't appear to be the same...

Yes, that is what I wanted to do. But looks like I need to read up more on this subject before I attempt a tube swap. I did not see the that info in the manual. Should I have been looking in the schematic for the correct answer? I was and still am a little confused on how to find the correct info.

Thank you again for answering my questions. I really do appreciate you taking the time to help.

Let me see if I have this figured out.
Looking at the EZ Schematic.

Pin 1 = Focus
Pin 6 = Green
Pin 8 = Red
Pin 11 = Blue
Pin 9 = EG
Pin 7 = EM (Screen)
Pin 10 = EH
Pin 5 = ?
