Do I have to do anything to a tube before I store it in my garage? I got a 25" Tube, Monitor has been discharged, and chassis has been removed. I guess what I really wonder is if its okay to leave the monitor with no anode cap on it? Just feels wrong leaving it exposed with no anode cap.

Should be fine. That hole in the tube is really a metal connection. If you're really worried about it, you can cover it with some tape. Or, better yet, clip the anode suction cup connector off a junk flyback and pop it on :D

I would connect the anode and cathode together with a jumper wire to make sure they don't build a charge on me. In the electronics world, this is standard practice for storing capacitors over a few thousand uF, and what you're storing is, in fact, among other things, a capacitor.

Otherwise, just make sure they're securely sitting on a stable surface, and aren't exposed to direct sunlight, and you should be good.
