Ive been stopping in the local Good Will and checking out the 19" tv's (as they get inundated as of late)..

Is there a list of TV models/and or Tubes that may be compatible w. a (1983)GO7??

I picked up a couple that have RCA tubes(A51ACG34X02) and chunghwa tubes(48AKH13x03)
circa '95-'05...
How do i know if i find anyhting of use???
Is it only the older TV's that may be compatible?

This is the first time ive delt this extensively in monitors

thx

What I do is write down the TV model numbers, then come home and do internet searches to see if I can find out what the tube number is inside the TV.

Then, I check the BKPrecision chart to see what adapter that tube (or it's closest listing) uses. If they use the same adapter as the G07 (CR-23), then I know the neck configuration is the same. Then I just hope the deflection angle (90 degrees) is the same. If it turns out to be a 100 degree tube, then it's probably a good tube for a 6100. the deflection number is usually represented by large numbers molded into the glass somewhere on the back side of the tube.

As for your examples, using the list we find:

A51ACG34X02 uses a CR-23 adapter.

48AKH13x03 isn't listed, so you'll probably have to count the pins and comparing them to the number on the tube you want it to replace. I normally try plugging the neckboard of the arcade chassis onto it, and if it fits, it'll probably work.

Don't forget you still have to swap the yokes with the chassis...

Great info...
Will follow up w. my findings.

In regards to your last part, I keep the original G07 yoke and Chassis..never separate..just exchange the tube...correct?)

thanks

Don't forget the physical size of the tube itself. You can tell this by the first three digits in the tube number (usually)

A51ACG34X02 is a 20" tube. Note the "51?" That's the number of centimeters wide it is.

48AKH13x03 is a 19" tube.
