I generally put plastics into the dishwasher when I'm shopping a pin but I've never done a 'modern' stern pin before.

Any issues washing the simpsons plastics and playfield figures?

Thanks!

You're probably OK using the top rack and No Heat Dry.

Never can tell what dish detergents might react with the inks or plastics, though.

I wouldn't do it. Why not just clean the plastics with a little Novus 2. They should polish out real nice. If you want a gloss, hit them with a little Novus 1 to finish.

I'd worry the figures might have water soluble colors on them. I know the AFM martians bled some green and red when I tried cleaning them with a soapy solution.

Try a little Bleche-Wite spray cleaner on them. Does some amazing stuff and for me, it doesn't bleed colors nearly as bad.
