Anyone know?

When I shopped my POTC and tried to put in 'regular' LED's in the inserts, they ghosted...Badly.

Anyone know if TSPP is the same way? Thanks!!

I am not a pin guy, however I just did LEDs on a TSPP this past weekend. I don't understand "ghostbuster"....

So help me help you....

Some pins have issues with LEDs (controlled insert LEDs not general illumination lighting). The issue they have is they light/blink (usually faintly) at the 'wrong' time. I'm not sure why but I think its because LEDs are more sensitive than incandescents and any bit of voltage in their string will result in them turning on (at least a little bit).

Anyway, some pins have issues worse than others so there are newer LEDs (ghostbusters) that eliminate this issue.

Ok, I've heard about this issue.

I haven't spent much time admiring the LEDs yet. (still reassembling and doing rubbers) but I had the lights on diagnostics during install. Purchased a kit from bar area amuse, and haven't seen any ghost lighting. They have a misprint that affects about ten lights on the instructions, and I'm pretty sure I am missing a few LEDs. But I'll email them about these. I'm happy with it and would recommend it. But again, I'm not a pinhead...

once you get it out of test mode and into the attract mode/general play mode you'll be able to see if there is any ghosting. I put an LED in the 'hurry up' insert and it was ghosting a bit. So I bit the bullet and bought ghostbusters for it.

I may not need them all...If not, I'll use on other pins down the road.
