Ok, i have a cab that was wired for jamma and i am now putting a 60-1 in it. i want to yank out the taito power supply and put in a switcher. i am okay with the whole bob roberts ac diagram, but the isolation transformer that he has only has two wires in and two wires out.

how can i determine which wires to provide power on the iso transformer? there are 6 brown/black wires on the input that have jumpers in the molex (upper right of the power supply board). on the output side, i am ok as the white wires attach to the molex where the black wires come out for the monitor. (upper left of the power supply board). all of the red/yellow, etc on the output side go to pcb. thanks

On Taito's it is pretty simple. Just plug the switcher into the second 120vac port on the left hand side of the power brick. It is wired the same way as the monitor is (both outside connectors) and since it is AC it doesn't matter which wire goes to which port on the switcher.

thanks, but i want to yank out the entire unit that is in there and replace with just a switcher, iso transformer (from this unit) and a distribution block from bob roberts. i just dont know which wires to power the transformer and the two white outputs that go to the monitor.
