Hey all.
In case any saw my "setting up the new basement arcade" thread, I'm now at the stage where I have a list of things I need to work on to get them all working properly. I was looking for any supporting vendors of the site, but didn't see any. I checked the "who sells what" thread, but either I'm looking for the wrong things or the "search this thread" function is terribad.

The first few things I need/want to do is to replace a bunch of door locks and coin mechs. Are there any trusted vendors or sites that most here use? Is there a thread/section of the forum I should be checking out when I move on to other things? (CPOs, monitor repairs, etc)??

Places in order from frequently:
  • ArcadeShop.com - hardware, mechs
  • ArcadePartsandRepair.com - connectors and everything you need for monitor repair
  • TwistedQuarter - I buy my locks from them, other hardware, mechs, power supplies
  • GameOnGrafix for cabinet artwork
  • Szabo's Arcades - for really great cabinet art, very slowly
  • ArcadeCup.com - monitor repair services

Other places I have ordered from:
  • GroovyGameGear - I like their microswitches & buttons
  • PhoenixArcade - another great source for accurate art
  • ThisOldGame - your order may take 5 days or 5 years! How exciting!

Several/most of these places are owned by members of this forum. I didn't go through and tag them all.

hobbyroms is also good.

Everyone except me has good experiences with paradisearcade.

Arcadeshock and FocusAttack are both super reliable, but AS can be a pain if you want to return something or get a mixed up order.
