My DoT died a while back. Plays blind - can coinup and hear all the proper sounds. I figured the monitor bit the dust. I go tonight to swap in a new one but....

The neck on the one in there doesn't even glow. Nothing. So, just to see what happens, i hook the output of DoT to my test rig and I get no picture at all. Nothing. I hook another board up to my test bed, it's fine. Try DoT again, nothing. Seems odd that the monitor and video output would die.

is this a known issue with MCR/DoTs or does this give anyone a clue as to what's wrong? I have ribbon cables on order so I will eliminate that soon.

Maybe a fuse blew (I haven't checked yet)?

What kind of monitor? Likely a G07?

There is a fuse on that Chassis i would take a look there.... just thinking aloud, the usual stuff like the two pronged AC line into the monitor giving it power (you say no neck glow right?). Even if a cable to the PCB wasnt in place, you would still get neck glow, so this sounds like a fuse or power issue. Just a guess.

I have plugged the video cable into the wrong board before. It will plug into the SSIO with all the other cables, but should really be on the CPU board in the middle. I think that caused a white screen on mine, though.
