Well I cleaned the surface, I put soapy water on the area where decal was going so I can position it where I want, rubber type small squeegie. Problem 1. Not enough soapy water and the decal stuck, had to peel off and it took a bit of paint as well. Reapplied the decal and have alot of bubbles under the decal and unsure how to get them out if at all possible, I'am screwed or what? If you look close you notice if your in the heat of the game you dont. Suggestions? Thanks in advance

About all you can do with bubbles is make a pinhole and then flatten out. Honestly it sounds like you need to start over. Order a new decal. Freeze spray the "now hosed" decal to remove it. Use Naptha to clean area. Apply new decal.

Not sure how big the decal is but I have never used the wet method to apply any decals. Some people swear by it ... to each their own. I'm used to handling full sized side art on vids and see no reason why to use the wet method on an area that small. You should be able to line the decal up with "for instance" a line or pic on the upper left and lower left. Then as you lay the decal down "left to right" keep even pressure on the decal portion in your right hand" and simply take a soft cloth and rub it up and down. When doing this motion it will cause the decal backing to come loose and "peel" as you are rubbing it. Hope that makes sense to you.

+1 Dry method only here even on full side game sideart. It's really not hard at all if you have a reasonable technique.

whenever i need to apply sideart or anything

i turn the unit upside down or if its a cabinet i tip it over so i am applying from "negative" space
that way i have better shot at not making a mistake because i am appling it up from below and can avoid any hangers down stick where i dont want it
