Ok. I have a Tron with no sound. I put another Working Tron boardset in the cab and it had sound. Traced the problem on the non working board to the Z80 chip. Replaced it and the sound worked. Woo hoo. I went throught the game and fixed the light fixtures, flight stick and cleaned it. Put the game all together and no sound again. I have switched main boards again. The both boards have sound in my known working cab. Neither have sound in the cab in question. I have replace the amp board with a known working one, no difference. I have checked the continuity from the pins on the SSIO to the volumn pot, checked the range on the pot, checked continuity from the pins on the SSIO to the amp board. All is good. I am pretty good with MCRs. I know everything is redundant so the only thing that is not redundant is a couple wires on the amp board and the volumn pot. What else would take out both channels? I dont know what else is in the sound system on these except the speakers and I checked them too. Oh, I checked the wires from the medium PS to the amp board also. And exchanged the ps with a known working on as well. What am I missing. I have fixed everyone I have come accross using this method. Any help appreciated.

Update/fixed

This is one of those ones you cant walk away from. I knew I was forgetting something simple. I had my 12v to the sound board so I was not worried about power. Should have been though. I was not getting my audio signal and return from the medium ps. I checked the wires, not the voltage. Traced it back to the fuse holder that powers the circuit for the audio to the PS. Duh.
