I bought a Tron a week or 2 ago that has lines going across some of the sprites and the top of the tank map is funky. Any suggestions on what to do to fix that? Would it be video RAM or ROM issues or something completely different than that?

Also, it's missing the light fixture that goes behind the joystick and spinner. Is there anything special about the light fixture other than it takes a blacklight bulb? Standard sizing and all? Where is the best place to get a replacement one?

I think DJDNS has a couple for sale.

You could also have a glitched eprom. I'd inspect them for broken or poor connections.

just go to your local hardware store and buy any 18" floresent light fixture and if it comes with a black light....nice, if not grab one and replace the white light with it. The original fixture wasn't anything special.

It really wasn't much of a fixture, just the connections attached to a piece of wood that was covered in aluminum foil.

It's kinda a tight space so make sure you do your homework on the measurements. You could also just buy the white bulb holders and just make one yourself tied in with a starter and transformer from a spare marquee light..
