Just checking -- it doesn't need to be inverted like a Nintendo monitor or anything, does it? I am trying to put in a much newer CRT from a conversion cab I am parting out. Usually I can just tie together the vsync and hsync into a single sync and it works, but I did that this time and got nothing. Every other wire has a direct connection, unless I have overlooked something. ??? I can get the TRON board to play normally to the monitor currently mounted in there on a direct connect, and I can get the new CRT to run whatever JAMMA board I feed to it with no issues. Maybe I'm just overlooking something simple here.

1) MCR games - like Tron - sometimes don't work well with the newer monitors. Which monitor is it?

2) Most newer monitors only want the composite negative sync on the negative horizontal sync pin.

3) If your game has separate sync (too tired to look up Tron's video wiring right now), you can't just twist them together to make composite sync...
