tron uprising last night

I'm still trying to figure out Tron's progression to Rinzler based off what we saw in Legacy and what we saw in Uprising.

Yeah somethings weird about that.. I'm sure they will explain later hopefully. But yeah I thought in the movie he didn't know he was TRON when he was rinzler. Now it seems like he keeps the idenity but it doesn't really matter cause beck wants to be the new TRON.

I'm also curious to see what's keeping Tron from reconnecting with Flynn, who is presumably trapped in the Grid at this point.

the drawing/art style was very similar to the cartoon networks Clone Wars, same artists? not being a major Tron fan, this is set before or after Legacy?

I saw it last night and today. I thought it totally kicked ass. I thought it has an art style similar to the last animated Spider man they did, or a Scanner Darkly if your familiar with that, or Archer was semi close. Its a CGI, but its not what I would call a full on 3D. But the style will probably change as they evolve the show. Either way, its nice to know that Tron will continue to be a viable franchise property at Disney. So, we should see a sequel or two out of it. :) At the very least, it will be one more decent program to watch during summer TV season.

Bump.

I finally got around to watching all the episodes now that it's on Netflix. I haven't seen an animated cartoon this good in a very long time.

Unfortunately, they left it hanging pretty hard and Disney has pretty much cancelled it due to poor ratings. Of course it's going to get poor ratings if you schedule it at Sunday midnight on an obscure Disney channel (WTF is XD?).

Man, I love/hate Disney.

+1 to that. I think the series addressed some of the issues Legacy had while improving upon TRON as a whole. The stories are interesting but also the characters. The music as well is top notch.

If you haven't watched it on Netflix, definitely do so. Yes, it is frustrating that it ended where it ended however - with enough people watching it on Netflix, that could show Disney there is interest to continue it and do another season. I would have watched it on Disney XD, if I had XD.
