Hello all,

I didn't see anyone mention this yet in a thread so I'll throw it out here. While visiting Sterns's site I took a look at the Tron pin software release read me and imagine my surprise when I saw a new software release, just released 2/11/13! Update appears to be for both Pro and LE models.

Go check it out. I'll be updating my LE this weekend with it.

Saw it at a local pin tournament immediately after release. It was on a Pro, so I thought maybe the different graphics being used for the Flynn's Arcade animations was the Pro package, but after installing it to mine I see it's applied to LE's too.

I like some of the changes, like having a new means to start/advance some of the modes, but it does throw a wrench in my strategy of hitting the Arcade as much as possible for the 500K bonuses. They don't turn up nearly as often as before.

Warning, the update will wipe your high score tables and custom settings (volume settings, knocker, attract text too) so there's that.

i'm really diggin the update.....

love that it now gives you a "2nd chance" to reenter the DISC MULTIBALL mode which is really cool. theres a sweet 10 sec countdown to keep the mb going.

on the le's..... when you first lanuch the ball, hold down the left flipper and the right ramp glows that cool blue color. shoot with the 2nd flipper into the that ramp and then into the arcade scoop for the endofline bonus (like before).

love the new arcade scoop animations (esp quorra) although the gem pic is kinda funny looking.

just patiently waiting for a TF update. keepin my fingers crossed that its good.

I downloaded the new code a couple of weeks ago. It was already an awesome game, and now it's even better. I love it.

Updated my LE last weekend and all I can say is I really like this upgrade. I'm enjoying the changes they've made to the game and yes, I think they made it an even better game!

I knew I would loose my setting and high scores and so forth so I was ready, but it is still kind of a pain to reset all of that stuff. But it was worth it.
