Started out with gibberish, then after a minute, it went to this scrambled video.

After i check for the correct voltages out of the arii boards, which board of the stack should i start with checking/cleaning roms on? thanks.

have you tested a working board set with that monitor? That looks like loss of sync to me. Will the game play blind?
I'd start by replacing the interconnect cables. After that, i'd start from the 93419/N82S09 on the cpu board, then the 4 custom proms. I'm betting either monitor or interconnects.

game does not take credits. interconnect cables don't look original, appear fresh/fine, will check and reseat them. have not check the monitor at all. picked up recently to fix, with no history on it. thanks.

I had something similar on my Satan's hollow... check the 2 connectors to the chassis. the smaller one is the sync...

Does it have any sound at all ? I'm leaning towards inner connect cables, are they one row like OE or are they two row like SCSI ?

1 row, not brittle. no response to quarter inputs, no sound. originally, it came on with paused video, looked like one bad rom/ram, then scrambled moving video a minute later, as seen in the pic.

maybe i missed this. yellow LED on the main board stack is not on. should it be? power readings taken from power board seems to be in line with correct amounts. fuses all good. have not taken reading off main board yet.
