Got my TRON resto done today...and just in time..going to mpls on sunday to bring home my EDOT...Here are the after pics...enjoy.

Before and after of the components...It was FILTHY inside...so i stripped it all out and painted black...

And the work...the pile of glass on the floor is the original marquee. It shattered in my hand as i removed it. Didnt even get a chance to set it down...

I removed the side art and cleaned it with denatured alcohol...worked like a charm...cleaned all glue off in less than one hour. Before and after pic of power brick...very dirty. Cab ready for prime.

All visible...and some invisible...metal was sent off to powder coaters. Flourecent light fixture brackets were powder coated white for higher reflectivity. And yes....i even powdercoated the black light fixture...even though its covered by the reflective cardboard...

I forgot about this...i did the bottom of the cab as well. I like the way this looks. Too bad i will never see it...

Great job. Tron is a beast to redo as the sidearm is a lot of work to remove and the cab has a lot of pieces. The control panel also is a lot of disassembly. Its funny when someone wants to buy a restored Tron they are shocked when you ask for $2K as you probably have that much into it not including the labour!

I recieved my new tron toppers a few weeks ago. Also installed the ENCOM marquee and coin door decal i purchased from Tron Guy. This set was the one rich sold awhile back. I love the updated look! The only thing left to do is get a kick plate and this project is done...

Looks awesome, great work. what did you do to polish the metal coin slots & ejects on the coin door?
