I can hear popping/scratching sounds coming from the speakers, when moving a control, mostly when the joystick is moved or the coin door is opened or closed, it doesn't matter if its in game play or attract mode. It seems to worsen when the game has been on for a while, the noise can also be heard if I move the cabinet.

I've looked at all the connections and everything seems to be in good order, I also checked the 12v and 5v outputs to make sure they were correct and they are spot on.

Is this just some random noise interference I should expect from running the MCR2 power supply or should I be looking deeper ?

I have a power supply conversion ordered for this machine but have yet to receive it.

You might have a loose ground somewhere. Double check all your grounds and make sure theyre making a good connection.

That's exactly what it seems like too.. Does the yellow ground strap that runs though the chassis go to the coin door or CP at anytime ?

Thanks

It's fixed..

I found a pin at the CP connection for the spinner that was only pushed in part way, it would work but any movement when the machine was warmed up would disconnect it momentarily and cause the scratch/pop sound in the speakers.

A simple wiggle test found this issue.

I'm posting this because I hate doing a search and finding the topic I need an answer to only to find the question asked with no resolution.
