If I buy something for $2000 and sell it for $5000 and it's my own private money I don't see why "running" it past anyone if you already contribute enough and pay bills makes a difference, that is why I never understand the "wife" argument.
As for art, we can sit here and post pics all day long, but this kills all of it:
...and that isn't B/W or Stern. I'll take a Stan Fukuoka illustrated pin any day.
Yeah, Stern had Leonardo come back to life to copy and paste the Mona Lisa in Photoshop on every cabinet too.
And this is what leads to divorce.
And this is what leads to divorce.
Seems like a waste of his talents.
So the new rule is that the examples of good pinball art have to be on common machines?
What, ASKING your wife everything? LOL
Not sure how keeping finances separate for your own hobby would lead to divorce unless other things were involved.
Let me put it to you this way...let's say you have bills of $3000 a month and you buy your wife stuff and pay more than you share, you REALLY think you have to explain purchases on games if they don't have any affect on the house?
All I know is this, I've been married for three years and lived with my wife for longer and we never argue about money or space or anything as such. I buy my stuff, she buys her stuff, we keep our stuff separate and we're the only couple I know that is happy and doesn't argue about money. All my friends that have to "ask" about purchases constantly have many problems in their relationships...
This is why I never understand this argument; money is a huge cause for divorce. If you MAKE your own hobby/money from it away from everything else, what is the problem?
I sure don't want to be like my friends who argue with their wives all the time about $50 game store purchases and arguments about WHY YOU GETTING THAT CRAP..we agreed a long time ago to avoid any type of issues like that; works for us, we're both very happy...not sure how that would lead to "divorce" if we take the money problem out of the equation.
Im going to play Tron today around 2pm. Ill take the camera and give it a small review
