Tron pinball arcade scoop mod :)

so you have to shove a pc into your tron?

since its just playing the attraction screen, could you not just image a video clip loop it and run off an ipod or something like that?
 
Ok, well, I'm in on one of these too. This is probably the coolest mod I've seen so I ponied up for one. Except, he's backordered now. 2 or 3 weeks. Oh well...

Well, I waited months for the actual game, I can wait a couple weeks. Please post when you get yours and install it!

Bill, if I understand this correctly, there must be some memory in the LCD screen and they are in fact loading the loop into the memory of the LCD. No PC in the Tron pin.

Someone correct me if I've got this wrong.

your right, its just a small lcd display with a micro pc board downloaded from a pc.
I heard he already sold out, glad I got in, I am sure he will make more though.

i hope he makes more...i definitely want one.


ya know, i bought all these daggum figures from target thinking i was gonna add them all over the playfield....but then i realized that at least in my opinion, they got everything right. it just looks like it should. so i've shelved the idea of modding my TRON with figures (for now).

but this mod.......great googily moogily.......thing looks all kinds of bad-effing-ass.

cool. I will order one then. I am not in any rush as I probably won't get my tron back for another month or so...

Is there a video somewhere were I can see this mod in action? I'm posting from my iPhone and I don't see a link? This mod is sweet and I'm sure there will be more to come in the future.

I already bought mine, just waiting a couple weeks to get it cause its back ordered. If you head over to RGP someone posted how to light the marquee up :) I strapped my cup on tonight, I want to keep my nuts :)

updated to do list:

- buy TRON mod

- reserve LE edition of new star wars pin

- find relatively inexpensive divorce lawyer

- buy cup for protection in the meantime
