Hi everyone

I am just about to start on my journey of getting the Tron PCB set I have working and I wondered if anyone had some good advice to point in in the right directions before I begin!

As far as I can tell I have:

2 x Super Sound I/O Tron
2 x Video board Tron
1 x CPU Tron
1 x CPU Tapper (rooms labelled Tapper!)
1 x Tron joystick, buttons and spinner plus wiring
No cabinet (but standard Jamma cabinet to test with)

The connecting ribbon cables are missing on one set, and pretty shot on the other so I think I will need to replace those (thinking 50 way SCSI cables will work - 25 pins along the bottom and the existing connectors need 24) and I have no Sound Amp or Power Supply so thinking that starting with a standard +5v / +12v arcade power supply will be the way to begin?

I believe from reading the pin-outs for the board i'll also need some way to amplify the sound - either an original midway board (anyone get one spare? :)) or some other traditional amplifier circuit?

Anyways any advice much appreciated and thanks in advance

Alex
