I'm posting for a friend of mine. He recently picked up a Tron; it boots up fine but once you put a quarter in it then the monitor goes wacky in the sense that the graphics are "out of place." The MCP cone is way down towards the bottom of the screen and another thing is the tanks are outside of the walls and just generally out of place. Any thoughts? I appreciate the help gentlemen.

While I'm no Tron expert I've read enough times that the 40 pin connector cables go bad or become loose. I guess reseat those cables first.

From what you are describing, it sounds how the game looks, when you power it up without the SSIO PCB. (top board on the MCR stack) Obviously it is connected if you are able to coin it up, but perhaps some of the data pins have a bad connection. Have him double check those ribbon cables between PCB's.
