Hello Klov members,

I Have been having this problem for awhile. When I turn on my Tron, I get a frozen screen. I have replaced all the ribbon cables with bob roberts replacement with no luck. What should I check now?

Does anyone know how to work on these boards?

I just went to go check on the game after leaving it on for 10 minutes and I got an error message that says "Rom Error 07." Which Rom is that and what does it do?

like Dan said, if you haven't checked voltages it's really hard to get anywhere at this point.

do you have a multimeter and know how to use it a little bit?

I ALWAYS think power supply (or power distribution) first before I start worrying about my main board.

I am certainly no expert, but my experience with my games has shown me to check all the power and voltages first.

If the voltages end up being ok next swap out the Z80 (40 pin) chips with the SSIO and SUPER CPU boards and see if that fixes it. I've had that same screen from a bad Z80 on the middle CPU board.
