Tron MT89 xformer no voltages
I have a non working Tron. I have rebuilt the power board and have replaced the two large caps. No go, I have 12v but no 5v. Back tracking no voltage at J4 or J5, back further, no 5v or 8v on J3. So I go back to the transformer and no voltages on the transformer. This is before the big caps. So it looks like the MT-89a might be dead. I am getting the monitor neck light and the cabinet lights work, also 12v is good.
I prefer to keep the orginal power supply and not put in a switcher. For one I have already paid for the caps and rebuild kit.
Now I need to find a replacement power supply or at least a replacement transformer, it says mt89a. Anyone have one?
