Is TRON one of the games that you should not lay down to move?

Picking one up this weekend and I have a truck. Always easier to lay it down. Anyone here know?

You can lay it down with no problem. Only issue is, it's egg shaped so it'll have to go on its side. Use a moving blanket or some heavy cardboard and you'll be fine. As always, make sure the monitor, boards, etc are all secured inside the cabinet first.

If you put it on its back, you probably want to put something like cardboard under it so it slides easier. The shape of the cabinet works against you when you try to slide it, it just sort of rocks up and down and not forward. Its one of those games that isn't extremely heavy but when you try to push one into the bed of your truck it seems to weigh a ton.

Tron has a monitor shroud on its back side so you cannot ever lay it on its back... it will crush the flimsy plastic shroud and destroy your monitor... so it always must be rested on its side.

Be sure not to slide it around on its side... you could damage your artwork. Get it in place and lay it down on top of a moving blanket or something. Then if you have to slide it about move it with the blanket.

Last few times I've moved games I've shrink-wrapped the hell out of them... its totally worth it. You can get a giant roll of cellophane from either Lowe's or Home Depot in the moving section of the store.

I moved mine on its back. I just folded up a blanket and put it underneath to prevent rocking. Worked just fine. Just make sure it's secure enough that the blanket won't come out and fly off.
