Did a monitor swap, seems ok with some issues.

Picture seems too high (vertically) Probably need to adjust the yoke?

Bigger issue: multiple lines on the far right side of the screen (as you look at it)

Just did my first cap kit (Did not know if I messed something up) on the chassis (WG 4900)

Finally- two total newbie questions/problems:

1. there is a very high pitch squeal coming form the flyback (stops when I touch/move the adjustment knobs) Sign of trouble?
2. Touched the HOT tonight. Shocked the shit out of me (yes, I am a dumbass) did not know if the outside of this was supposed to be this bad or if something was messed up.
(I was already wary of the anode, but never the HOT)

I do not want to break the game. Thanks for any help.

I doubt you have to adjust the yoke. Put some pictures up. Pretty much every monitor has adjustments to move the picture. H.POS pots on some monitors, and a H.POS jumper wire on some 4900's.

As for the junk on the right of the screen, that's standard... it's just a line of flashing colors running vertically, right?... That's normal.

Got it fixed. Finally.

Messed with it today. Looks great now. down to the home stretch. (gotta fix some small stuff and she's done)
