Just picked up a tron that is missing the metal bracket that goes between the monitor shroud and the upper light plexi, if you have a tron could you measure the bracket on your machine and let me know the dimensions.I am going to have to make one up because I don't think it will be easy to find one.

It's the length of the backlight cover (23") and 1 5/8" wide. It has a slight horizontal bend (maybe 10 degrees?) in the exact middle. Four holes are drilled into it that will line up with the inner shroud, going from the left, mine are at 2 3/8", 8 1/2", 14 9/16", and 20 11/16". If you find someone to make you one, I might suggest getting like 20 of them made because there are people that need them. And if you find a machinist that powder coats, do it in satin black and you'll be all set!

No problem. I'm serious though...if you get someone to make one for you, it wouldn't be much more difficult to get 20-30 more made. Once you have one that's been test fit and works, it would take a good machinist about 5 minutes to make one, and they'd sell easily.

I was just at home depot and they actually sell flat metal pieces that are 1/8" thick, 1 1/2" wide by 36" long for $7. I know it is not exact but it is pretty close and all you would need to do is cut the length down and drill the holes and then paint it black. I probably will go this route even though it is not exact it will work and the price is right, so if anyone else is looking for that metal bracket try checking out home depot.
