Tron legacy exclusive 20 min. free !!!!

Neat, but I wouldn't want to ruin the whole experience by watching 20 minutes of it ahead of time. If it was like a "pre-cursor" to the movie, that would be interesting.

Nothing in my immediate area so I probably won't make a 2 hour drive to check out a 20min clip but I am curious to what flyers or commemorative items ect might be at the event. Might be something cool you can't get anywhere else. If it were closer I might go just for that.

Sorry guys... but this is some STUPID SHIT IMHO... I already hate the normal length previews... why in the hell would I waste my time to go see 20 minutes (10% or more) of the movie?

Pffft...

Plus you have to sit in line for at least an hour before the doors open... Yeah, unless there's a lot more going on than just the 20 minute preview, seems like a bit of a waste to me...

well... im a huge tron fan, as you all can tell. and with all the stuff that has been given away at these tron events, i am just happy to get anything i can, to make up the last 28 years of tron.

This would be cool if they showed the original Tron too. Even if you had to pay regular admission to get in.

20 minutes isn't worth the ag.

closest one to me was about 2.5 hrs away... grabbed a ticket anyway, but I just can't see making that journey for a 20 minute preview...

How did you find out about this? I'm registered on the Flynn Lives website, but didn't get any kind of email about the event. I've been out all day, and just got home but all the theaters in my state are already sold out. Bummer..

You know you've been hoodwinked when someone gets you to pay to watch a commercial for something that you will pay more to watch later.

This seems analogous to a guy who has a hungry dog and toys with him in front of his friends, "Watch how I can make Fido dance around and salivate thinking he's going to get a treat!" I'll watch the movie, but I'm not being a dancing monkey.

Bummer, about the only place I could find tickets is Hawaii. If I didn't have a kick-ass Halloween party to go to already scheduled....:(

My wife has been laughing at me for wanting to go but the best excuse I could come up with, other than being a total TRON geek is I've never been to an IMAX movie and the last time I went to a 3D movie was Captain Eo at Disneyland when I was 11. Going to see this for free will give me a good idea as to whether it will be worth spending the extra money to see the full thing in IMAX 3D or save my cash and see it in a regular theater. ;)
