TRON LE Pinball Video Everything But The Portal

I have to agree, the fiber optic work on the ramps is far superior to using EL-wire which would have just been one color. It looks really good.

The music also sounds good, but it seems to be a bit too repetitive. At least there isn't as much annoying voice call-outs as there is in Avatar.

Sound and playfield lighting I think is nice. DMD animation is really below par and lame, especially the light cycle race animation. All-in-all I don't see this game as being a "dud" but I bet "pro" owners are going to be hella pissed.

Thanks for the vids. I like it alot. I agree the music is a bit repetitive - they need to mix the tracks up more. Other than that i like what i see.

To your comments though regarding Pro vs. LE - i was originally in for an LE, but cancelled at the last minute because the fiber wire doesnt do it for me at all. The other features, like the moving recognizer and chrome also are thumbs down. I owned a getaway pin that was chromed out, and it annoyed me how filthy it gets especially around kids. They are certainly not unattractive or anything, its more the value behind them - not much to justify the cost. I do expect the LE to command 6k+ in after market though - at least its a good investment!

So, i have been rethinking getting a pro. Maybe not now (i just added two pins) but down the line.

Still don't get all the "Castor" references. I don't remember that character EVER being called that in the movie..maybe I'll re-watch it tomorrow. Even in the Tron Legacy video game that flopped he's called Zuse. Only seen the Castor name on the Target toys and here. :|
