Hello everyone,

My Tron stopped working recently. It had a D3 ROM error, so I pulled the boardset. Turns out the socket had separated from the legs, so today I replaced the socket and reseated the ROM. This time, however, I get a flashing blue screen and a vertical colored line on screen. The blue flashes, and the line moves from left to right. The game already has the upgraded switching power supply and it outputs 5.2 V at the power supply.

Any idea what needs to be done to fix it?

Thanks!

You need a logic probe to verify the roms are being accessed and running properly. You will also need to verify the cpu is processing code as well as look for floating pins in the address and data lines. It would be good to verify the roms also.
