I just picked up a set of 3 boards and put them in last night. At that point they worked good for an hour or so.
I should also mention that the old battery was cut off the power supply board, so I installed a bob roberts high score save battery holder and lithium battery.

Ok back to the original point.
The game developed some sprites or graphics issues.
I haven't had time to test voltages yet, or do anything.

During play, the sprites disappeared, then came back 10 minutes later.

where should I start?

clean, reseat and straighten all the legs on all the rams on the video board.

First check the rams on the video board. All the foreground stuff is there.. Get the block diagram and schematic, and look at the logic triggering.. If its all the sprites..check the clock and addressing logic.

Foreground sprite thread - RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!

Heh. Working Tron set develops foreground sprite issues after about 30 minutes of being on. Otherwise plays perfectly. Haven't done any troubleshooting yet, just thought I'd share the pic :)

probably one of the 2114s or sockets- if it does it after warming up only, its likely the socket.

Heh. I checked it out and the switcher had drifted down to 4.34 Changed it to another board, fixed the voltage to the furthest chips, and works like a champ. Probably just starved for voltage, but it was def the vid board
