Probably a silly question, but here goes: Is there any issue with the lower panel BLW bulb, and children whose heads are right at that level? Does the panel absorb pretty much all of the UV light?

Or should I be safe, and just put a BLB in there?

How long do you expect your kids' heads to be there? My kids won't touch the game. I don't think the panel will absorb anything, so if you're really worried about it, I'd go with the purple black light bulb. That being said, mine is the correct white black light and I'm not really going to worry about it.

Just think of it this way, you can get rid of the hand sanitizer dispenser since the UV light is killing all the germs!

To clarify, I'm concerned about my toddler staring at it. BLW bulbs put out a lot of UV, and they aren't the safest to look directly at. And yes, I could see my son staring at the lower panel design--it looks cool and it glows.

A year from now, and it will be irrelevant. Maybe it already is, but I'd rather be safe.

For that matter, I could see my eight-year-old staring at it just because we don't want her to. So that might have answered my own question.
