Does anyone know if it's feasible to have both Tron games in one cabinet ? I'm thinking of buying DOT boards and somehow incorporating them into one Tron cabinet.
Would that work? I'm wondering if the monitors are both vertical or horizontal (I'm thinking if they differ it won't work, right?)?

Thanks

Tron is vertical, and DOT is horizontal. If it were doable, there'd be 50 people who would've done it already. The hardware is different as well. Having said that, Tron and Satan's Hollow and kickman are all vertical. There's a modded romset out there for Satan's Hollow in a Tron cab, and Kick-man plays fine as is (provided you use the cabaret roms -the ones that aren't mirrored). Its a bit odd at first using the spinner and the fire button on the joystick for kick, but playable.

There's got to be a way... I almost bought the 1Up Arcade of Tron (It was HORRIBLE!) but it plays both on a vertical monitor. Is it different programming that's needed? Is there a way to make this happen? I'd love to add DOT to a Tron cabinet and have both with a switcher if needed.
How did they do it on the Arcade 1UP?

I'd been mulling over a Tron/DOT cabaret project ever since Crafty announced MCRII support on Bitkit2, but not until this moment did it dawn on me that DOT is horizontal.

I feel dumb now, but not as dumb as I'd have felt if I'd actually started cutting out panels for that cab…

I love that feature! That joystick is the best one ever made! And that spinner is the best one also... 360 and up and down!? Such a great game!

You could just put them next to each other like I did…. Mcr II and mcr III are wired different. Also the orientation of the monitor…. Would be cool to see a combo machine ….
