Tron... $2,100 ?

...

Looks nice.

I've seen Trons sell for $1500-$1800 pretty often.
Lately quite a bit less ($800-$1000). But I guess it all depends how nice one is and how bad someone wants one.

me too and I will even put up a couple 999,998 scores so the buyer
has something to shoot for. :O)

That price tag should be for a nice EDOT, not just a tron.

got a nice tron with a new happ monitor for 600... oh yeah they threw in a working battlezone.

What's up with all the Trons changing hands recently? I can't find a decent one for a decent price to save my life. Perhaps I should be more diligent and driven.

My friends just picked one up for $150. lol Great shape too... needs a new power supply... but the boards work (checked them in my Tron) and the monitor looks great as well. ... kinda pissed me off after all the work I put into rebuilding my machine... Oh well.

Get 'em while you can though... when Tron 2 hits the theaters... it's gonna be crazy.

Yeah, I think that's what's pushing me to get one soon. I've always had the intention of getting one but now I'm trying to get one before they go up on ebay for $4K or some shit.

Yep, me too. I've always wanted a Tron, but it has always been low on my list. But I can see the prices going throught the roof after the movie hits. I'd be happy with a beat cab that was mostly complete... I really want to restore one.

Noooooo you don't. lol

Well, depends on how complete you get it.

This is how I got mine... sorry for the size.

Yeah, I'd be happy to get my hands on a beater at the moment but between me, you, and ThatGuy (Paul) the valley has waaay more demand than supply. JFruge just picked one up for cheap, so It's not hopeless I suppose.

Two Tigers is a very cool game.
I actually like the conversion (tron) better than the dedicated machine.

Jon

I was the only one playing it when I got the boards and monitor in (Two Tigers) so it wasn't as much fun as it could've been... plus the conversion version of Two Tigers is a little different than the normal version... Having the ships targeting track me around instead of just shooting up threw me off a little.

Plus, I really wanted a Tron as my first game... but I wasn't going to pay some of the asking prices (nothing near as bad as 2,100), so when I got the opportunity to get the gutted cabinet for free... hells yeah, I'm wasn't about to pass that up. It was a learning experience. I learned I never want to have to do part hunting to rebuild a Tron ever again.
