Trip to Virginia

The only places I can think of is there is a decent size arcade in the Virginia Center Commons Mall (Northside). I think it is still there. Other then that, there is a Dave and Busters, Chuck E Cheese, and a putt putt place on southside with a decent amount of games if I remember correctly.

I know a good place to buy arcade parts & possibly games in Fredericksburg, VA about 6 miles west off I95. I think its called "My House". You can play and shop at the same time.

Amen to that, too bad there's really not much else that compares.

McCoys has a good number of classics. I got to try a lot of games I hadn't played before. But...that's 2 hours east of Richmond so it probably won't fit into his plans.

Jillians was another great place in Norfolk but sadly it's not there anymore. Lots of big deluxe games that were a lot of fun. And alcohol!

Flipper McCoy's in Virginia Beach is the BEST in Virginia.

Yeah that place is pretty rad for classic stuff. I haven't been in years. When I was there, the condition of some machines was iffy. The pins especially. The arcade at the Virginia Center Commons Mall was cool when it had about 5 good pins. I haven't been to any of the Chuck E Cheeses here. Dave and Busters might be cool enough. Lots of big, newer games and redemption crap. I actually stopped by that Putt Putt on Midlothian just the other day in search of pins to play. They have a new Indiana Jones and a 24. Otherwise kinda meh. I don't have much of a selection but my little gameroom is usually open. As far as stores go, It depends on what you are into. My former boss has a showroom of machines for retail. It's called Games People Play on Dabney road. He occasionally gets some neat stuff. Again, it's all retail priced. There is a shop at 1216 N. Blvd where Games People Play used to be housed before the two partners went their separate ways. Michael Day and his brother Ronnie are still there. There really isn't much to browse there. They are mostly dealing parts these days. If you have specific parts you are looking for, it might be worth stopping by.

There's one in the Greenbrier Mall now, just FYI :)

A Jillians? I can't imagine them opening a new Flippers. Though that would be cool.
Yep, a Jillians. Sadly the other two Flippers have been long closed and I doubt they'll be bringing either one back. They have a warehouse full of rarer old titles from their closed locations they could certainly use to furnish a new location, but they'd rather just sit on the inventory and refuse to sell it or use it. As far as I know the only 'escaped' game is my DK Jr. and that's just because the guy who owned the place donated it to a youth group before they threw it out and my friend got it.

Right on. Nice to meet you at Terry's. Yeah, I remember playing Blasteroids at the Military Circle Flippers once. That one is probably sitting in that warehouse among other goodies...
