Hi Guys
This is for the Amplifone Deflection board project, to repro the whole board

Anyone ever had to get an alternative for:
  • HEPS3048
  • D40P5
  • D40PU5
  • NTE228A

Config from front is EBC, with C for the case too.

Thank you

Why not a TIP47?

It's cheap, easy to find, and is close to the original part values as far as voltage ratings go... The pinout is wrong, but if you're reproducing the board it's easy enough to change that.

I can get these locally (MJE15030)

Might order a few and try them out

Good thing about these is they cost far less and are much more durable than the lower current TO-202 parts.
Bad thing about these is the different pinout arrangement as discussed earlier.
If it was my choice - I would go with the MJE15030's.

I see your site has them listed, but no stock.

Would your locals (US people) be able to get them from you if i designed the boards with both config options ?(IE Could you get more stock?)

:)

The MJE15030G's are quite popular and fairly stout compared to the others. I think I would just go with that pinout.

I sold the last of what I had earlier this week, have plenty more on order and are due soon...I hope.
