I just hope that they have a car transform into a robot in the playfield. If all they add is an Avatar type toy (mech-suit) that would be weak as hell.

I've heard a lot of sweet sweet rumors....and if they come true, well...I think we can thank Jack for the evolution of Stern Pinball.
Fill us in on the rumors... I haven't heard much yet. I am going to find a way to get this one though, it takes my 2 favorite hobbies and puts them together.

From what I know the pin after Transformers is alien themed. Maybe a third in the Mars series or a Cowboys and Aliens pin. Remember when Steve was hired they had a picture of an alien on facebook I think with his hand in the picture.
I heard alien theme already and a big wig at Betson said the same thing today.

Shit, I'm probably in on Steve's game too....if it IS a music game and it IS AC/DC....fuck...I'm so in.
I'd love to hear what the sweet sweet rumors are too.
I also need to see/hear something concrete before buying a pin. I'm considering buying a Tron LE because I've played it, love it, and know exactly what I'm getting, but with Transformers LE on the horizon, it gives me pause..

I remember seeing those too...forgot that Stern is so cryptic with their announcements. I like JJP weekly progress update better.

i think the teaser pics and such are cool and add a lot of chatter.....HOWEVER, that should be in the early stages of the game. like, pre-announcement. i do not care for the way stern basically refuses to release anything but the basics on their pins...and that's even after the damn things start rolling off the line.
i like the way JJP handles it too. i like seeing updates. my only problem with it is that he was expecting people to plop down $$$$ before much at all was known about the pin (yes, i know stern does this too....doesn't make it right though).
maybe JJP will handle the next one a little differently....i'm willing to cut them some slack being as this is their first ever pin. i'd imagine he was counting on at least SOME of that preorder $$$$ to help maintain course during the early days of pre-production.

Well, I promised the guy who told me I wouldn't repeat it...so - gotta be a man of my word...but like I said, it's taking a cue from Jersey Jack. From what I'm hearing, the "simpler" days of the 2010 pins are over....it's back to unique toys and features.

Ahhhh man you are killing me here lol. Oh well I am sure I will be getting one. I already told the wife if I gotta sell all the rest of my TF's that I still have here, my old Trans Am, and any games that gotta go to get a TF pin I will do it. Anything else I have I can get again down the road, but this will be my only chance to get a NIB Transformers pin. As IMO the biggest Transformers geek on this message board, I must have one of these brand new.

Thanks Chris! First and fore most glad to hear your son is still playing with and enjoying those tf's! Getting the kids into them is the most impostant thing. I am planning in the next week or 2 to get some current pics of what I have left here, and I will either give my old thread a bump or maybe just start a new one. I sold off quite a bit of the original G1 stuff but I do have most of my high value stuff still around like my sealed predacons, shockwave, superion giftset, a couple of primes and a megatron. I figure if I sell off everything that should get me at least halfway to my goal of not having to spend any money to get a brand new pin lol.

Totally, the movies are ass. Should call them morphobots. Robotic form looks nothing like japanese samurai armour. Instead more like metal bugs.
It would be a million times better if it were the 80's cartoon!
