I rebuilt the 90411 Midway power supply in my Space Zap from parts from Bob Roberts. Probably about 90% of the parts were replaced.

However, the lights and sound still do not work.

On the Transformer, I put the DMM leads on the 0 and 12v lines that go to pins 8 and 12 on the power supply and test for AC.

Nothing appears to register on the DMM. However, when I put on lead on the Common on the Transformer and measure the voltages on each of the outputs they appear correct. Is something wrong with the 0 lead from the transformer?

Could I move the wires from the 0 lead and put them on the Common on the transformer safely?

If you look at the schem, it looks why that's why I don't have audio either, since the pins that connect to the lights also provide the power to the audio amp.

Please anyone help??? I am a noob.
What else could I do to properly test what's wrong?

Do you have your meter on AC and not DC? It also appears there's a fuse there - have you checked that?

THanks for reply.

Yes, the meter is on AC. The fuses are good.

I don't know why when I put the meters on the 0 lead and the +12 I get nothing. When I put on +12 and common I get a 12v reading.
