That all sounds fine, but I can think of a few problems:
1) A lot of people don't update their VAPS on a regular basis.
2) Most people aren't willing to pay shipping, so getting responses from people a 1000 miles away isn't helpful. (This has happened to me.)
3) Most sellers aren't going to take the trouble of checking VAPS to see who is interested when it is much easier to just throw up a post here. Hell, some of them can't even be troubled to take a pic.
4) The only ways to see if someone is looking for a game (or PCB) is to either go to the KLOV page for that game (to see how many want it), log into VAPS (or sign up if you haven't already), or click on each member's VAPS link in their post header bar. From my experience, most people don't have that patience.
And why not say, "If you are selling a full game machine, why not create a VAPS 'wanted' game entry for it. Then it can be seen by countless people." I doubt that would cut down on our For Sale posts...
