No plans to get rid of it as of yet but I'm getting alot of gripes from the wife (re: the violence) since the kids are down in the gameroom a lot.

What's a fair trade for a dedicated MKII in super nice shape? I know we're not talking edot here but what about a nice Neo Geo, classic cab, etc...? Opinions?

Just wondering

Bob

I literally just bought one on NH today. Paid 400, it was in pretty good shape only issue was faded sideart on one side and the cpo needs some work.

I may have overpaid but I really wanted an MKII.

$400 seems a touch high for purchase, but that's based on what I see them go for.
The game is worth more than that in my opinion, it just doesn't sell for more than that.

I sold my umk3 for $345 to another klover. New flyback, monitor awesome, new joysticks/buttons, pretty nice cab.

It's all about condition, location, and what the buyer wants to pay. It's an awesome game.

$250-500 is about the range tho. more if the cabinet and insides are absolutely pristine.

lol klov...you can sell a dedicated mk2 for $600 all day any day

$250...*howls of laughter*

i see them for $250 quite often, and actually if you want to play lotto you can get one for free-$50 + restoration materials. not sure what's so funny about that.

if anything lawl @ $600

I just bought a MK2 and a neo geo for $260. At the time I did not know if they worked. Lucky me I got it home cleaned it and it works just fine, player 2 joystick will not go to the right but that just makes it easyer to beat them.lol. I thought this was a very good deal and have been told the board and monitor in the MK2 is worth at least what I payed.

There is a difference between what KLOV "insiders" will pay vs the general public. If you go by KLOV prices on most any arcade you'll be ripping yourself off when you sell. The general public tends to pay alot more than KLOV says they do.

Thanks for the replies. I know that I can turn off the gore but I also agree that doing so takes away an important element of the experience. As for value....thats about where I thought I'd be monetarily. It seems like if I ever do decide to trade it away (after lugging that big bastard up my basement steps) at least I'll get something decent back if I find the right taker.

Thanks Again,

Bob

I sold my very nice condition MKII for $700 about 9 months ago. Condition is important, a lot of converted and faded cabs out there.
