I'm contemplating trading my World Cup Soccer 94 for a Bram Stoker's Dracula. What do you guys think? Fair trade? I think soccer is the better game, but I haven't gotten to play Dracula a whole bunch...

All silliness aside....what kinda shape? If you like it then go for it.

It's from a guy on the VRPA. Not sure of condition yet, I do like BSD, but soccer is an awesome game as well.

Most advice I've gotten so far is to stick with World Cup Soccer...time will tell if I pull the trigger or not. They guy is way over in VAN as well, so it makes thing alot more difficult..

i've only played world cup soccer virtually, but i love what i've seen out of it.

as for the trade, i guess it comes down to how badly you want to play a different pin for a while? how long have you had soccer? and how hard would it be to get another one if you find out you made a terrible mistake?

WCS is an awesome game, the theme is kinda sucky unless your a major soccer fan, but I really love the layout on it. It's also fairly hard to get to 5 ball multiball.

If I had it for like 5 years I'd do it in a heartbeat.

If the guy is willing to make the drive, I may just do it anyhow...throw caution to the wind haha..ha lame was that? haha

Honestly, with the lightning flippers, BSD is one of the toughest DMD games ever made. WCS is very friendly to a broad range of players, both in difficulty and friendly theme.

My opinion: If you can't drop and live catch, don't get a BSD. If you can't bounce pass and tap pass, don't get a BSD. BSD is also not post pass friendly.

Additionally, BSD requires well-aimed shots. It will absolutely punish you for missed shots.

Now, all that said, for those that are not only comfortable with the above moves but love a crazy challenge with equally nice payoff, BSD is quite good. I spent around three weeks playing it exclusively and the multiball stacking is very tough but extremely rewarding.

BSD is the kind of game where you can have 10 frustrating games in a row under 50M but then have a breakout game of over 2B.

The trade may go down sooner than anticipated! My dad just bought us 3 tickets to the Vancouver/Chicago hockey game this Friday. So if all goes well I could have BSD in the basement this Saturday...

I'd probably trade my Drac for a WCS'94! I love Drac but I think after 3 years I'm bored of it. It's at work right now, entertaining my co-workers....

I have only played BSD a few times, and it was good. But I think WCS is a better game. I think a lot about picking one up again, especially since my kids will probably start playing soccer in a year or two.

i've thought about this too...my oldest (5) has played one year of soccer and while i don't get the sport, he loved it. the theme doesn't do anything for me (and i'm a big "theme" guy), but the game is fun...and the kids would likely dig the theme. i may wind up putting it on my short list when i get close to filling the last spot in my pin row...

Okay I am only taking positive trade advice now ahah, I'm going to get it Friday, soccer is sitting in the entranceway of my house, ready to go to Vancouver...

All pins/games will eventually get somewhat boring, so it'll be nice to have something new again. I now have fish tales, swords of fury and dracula, to replace soccer, getaway high speed II and dr who..

Addam's family, Time Machine, & Skateball are also for sale so I could potentially have 6 all new pins to replace my last 6 :)

I did change my drac to 5 balls today instead of the usual 3. some may not like it but to me its way better now because i can advance somewhat in the game now.

eff it, dude...it's your game. i wouldn't go bragging about any "new" high scores you get but if it helps you enjoy the game more, who cares what other people think???
