Trade: Star Trek Autographed Control Panel and Marquees

Im thinking about trading one, or all of my Autographed Star Trek Items. These were Autographed By Leonard Nimoy at a Comic-Con Convention in Seattle. He charged a fee for each signature.

All of them Say "Welcome Aboard Captain" Leonard Nimoy. I have a Control Panel and 2 Marquees. The Marquees are the 2 in the bottom left in the Marquee pictures.

Leonard said he had never signed any Marquees or Control Panels before!!

Items Im looking for to trade:

Kong Off Marquee
6100 Monitor
6100 working boards
Ampliphone stuff.
Black Widow Kit
Major Havoc kit
Star Wars PCB

Geez. Now I wish I got a Kong Off Marquee, because I'd do this trade in a second.

Leonard Nimoy > Kong Off people, imho :)

I do hope you find somebody to trade.

it's weird to me when people charge to autograph something, unless the money goes to *something* (say, space camp for poor kids or something).

That said, I still think these are cool. I love the game, love the sound system and voice clips, and Leonard Nimoy is awesome.

Good luck with your sale and I wish i had anything cool to trade for it.

My friend Chip (that80sguy) has a couple of Nimoy-signed monitor surrounds also.

I think the photo of Leonard's assistant waving off photography is precious.

Seriously, the dude is making money off of signatures, and a signature is easily authenticated by a photograph. Why hassle the fan/customer for taking a picture of his purchased signature being made?

Yes no pictures were allowed. With my stuff the other another klovers stuff, and the additional signed photos we both purchased they made bank on us. But he still almost got ejected for taking that photo!!

If he's charging, I don't see a problem with the pictures.

I also don't see a problem with him charging... if I wanted somebody's signature, I'd pay for it.

In general, I wouldn't want anybody's signature though, I never understood the benefit of that... I'd rather just shake their hand, or take a picture with them.

Marquee second in from the left is pending trade. I think Im going to keep 1 of the 2 remaining pieces, not sure which one depends trade offers :)

Is there a marquee for the Sega convert-a-cab? I have a Kong-Off marquee I'd trade, if so.

Mailed your Marquee today:) I sent you a PM with tracking number. Cant wait to put that Kong Off Marquee on my DK. Send me pics of the Star Trek marquee on your machine.

Likewise... your Kong Off marquee is on the way. I will put a picture up when the marquee is on the cabinet. Super excited to get it. Thanks for a cool trade.

I have a big problem with him charging... I hate the fact that celebrities charge their fans for signing something for them. If it weren't for us fans, they wouldn't be celebrities to begin with. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

if he didn't charge, he wouldn't be out signing anything and you would NEVER get a chance to get something signed by Spock..lol...so...to me, his "time" is worth whatever he wants to charge at a venue like Comic Con for those that want to pay it. I'd be all over it myself if i had a chance.

It may also be just a way to reduce the number of people asking. I'm sure it gets tiring signing your name over and over. Like buying a house. If it was free, everyone there would be in line.

It also keeps people from bringing 100 different thing for them to sign. Don't forget that allot of those free signatures will most likely be sold.
