Hopefully I have the corect forum for this. Price checks seem to be all over.

I have a Nice Centuri Eagle I am considering trading for two "bingo" pinball machines not working.

Yes, I know I listed it high, but you know craigs list and hagglers.

1st is Bally Mystic gate, cab rough condition, playbd needs tough up, back glass slight flaking, not working but all there.
The other is Twin Jokers which I'm told is a bit worse and all there.
These are EM machines and from what I am seeing from internet research, most don't go for over $100.

Am I about to screw myself?

If you REALLY like the pins in question and have the knowhow and time to restore them easily and cheaply- no, you're not.

Otherwise... probably.

Well, actually, I'm only doing this trade because of an older friend of mine wanted the Mystic Gate because he played it way back when.
I'm not quite that old and of course I will have to restore it and doubt it will be as much fun as He remembers since it was really used for "gambling".
I already have a slight bit of experience with an EM Mars Trek Pin that I own, and know how much of a Bit?# they can be to find issues, but more so just trying to compare trade worth of the majorities.
If the Eagle is worth a true $350 then I don't think these Bingo pins are worth that much and may have to negotiate a bit more.
I have about $325 tied up in the Eagle right now.

Ah. I don't know about the worth, but it sounds like a doable resto and a good cause to help a friend. I would wait for some of the price police experts to give you better stats, though, heheh.

Thanks MasterFygar. The things I do.....

Hoping everyone who views it will put some type of input, whether good or bad. I can take the criticism (most times). (may have to edit the original post to note that).

What I would hate to see is "Dude, you were an idiot to do that trade. I would have given you the asking price, and I'm only 1 house away from you, would pick it up without question, plus bring you a case of Bud!" type deal.

OK, now I expect to see replys for that later on.
Just for those who would, I plan to go see the Pins tomorrow, so you can schedule you're reply. :)
What ever I do...It's all good I suppose, as long as I can keep doing it.

So, I made the deal. Plus got $50 bucks in hand.
Considered it an OK trade as the Mystic Gate was really rough and needs lots of work.

The Twin Jokers had good potential and didn't appear to need that much work to get it working and respectable until.........

Going down the highway with the legs off the pins and tucked nicely in the bed of the pickup, the backboard glue on the Joker decided it had enough, gave way and crashed the backboard into the play field.
Oh what a feeling of despaire that fell over me and was confirmed when I pulled over to see the BG was shattered even though it had a blanket wrapped around it.
And it WAS in execellent condition!

Damn,Damn,Damn,Damn,DAMN!
Ruined the remainder of the day.

Anyone have a Twin Joker BG laying around they want to sell?
