Curious everyone's thoughts on trading a Rescue 911 for a Haunted House. My Rescue is in good shape, 3 minor wear spots on the playfield, nothing terrible, cabinet is in good shape. Helicopter works perfectly every time, one column out on the DMD, the plastic mountains have a crack. The Haunted House has a couple of spots of wear on all 3 playfields, cabinet is in ok shape, not fantastic, a plastic or two is broken or melted, mylar by the pop bumpers seems to be pealing. Not sure if any of the ground mods were done. Also a bit of a drive.
Not that I need something in pristine condition, but eventually I would try to touch up the wear spots on the playfield. Also, i know the game play are worlds apart, but I have another DMD and want one that's a little slower. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Personally, if the Haunted House was in good condition, I'd do it.

But that is with the caveat of understanding that Haunted House can be an utter nightmare to maintain. Even after the ground mod work is done, it's still three playfields with a total of 8 flippers. That's a lot of hardware.

Of course, if you don't like it, Haunted House tends to be easy to sell. If I had the room, I'd start bugging you about where this deal is.... but I don't have room, and not willing to trade any of my lineup for it.

Not a big fan of either, but given the shape both are in, I think I'd lean towards the Haunted House as well - definitely easier to sell, and certainly a challenging game.

Yeah, I know a lot of people have a love hate relationship with both of these games. But after having a couple of games, I miss the simplicity (play-wise) of my Williams Flash, and I figure Haunted House would be a great fit since it has similar old school elements, with the added fun of three play fields. Plus I will have my LAH up and running soon so I will have one fast one slow, until I can talk my wife into building a game room so I can get more.

Oh, I'd take Flash over *either* of those, disregarding price/value :) When it's clean, angled right, with good rubber and strong flippers, that's a fun/fast playing game...

If you don't like the Haunted House, I could probably talk Mom into trading her Firepower for it :)
