I'm restoring a Tron and need a monitor. I can't get any new WG's or Happs to sync up. Anybody have an older one with a very fresh picture they'd be willing to trade. Ideally I'd like a G07, 4600, 4900, etc. with no burn and a bright picture. I can trade you a brand new Wells 7700 or VisionPro. PM if you can help...

I believe I may have a 19'' WG.. model unknown offhand right now. I couldn't get it to sync so it may need a little work. Burn free.. and doing me no good since I have no cabs to put it in at the moment.. I can get pics etc this weekend and possibly get it up as far as Aurora to help ya out..

Haven't done anything with it since I brought it home, tested it once.. then it's been basically on the shelf since. If your interested let me know and I'm sure we can work something out.

Ah the wells 7000 series. What a picky monitor it is to work on.

Ask Jaunup he an expert on easy they are to blow up.

Check the voltage level on the sync pulse.
Check the fet transistor around the sync circuity.

Make sure your grounded when dealing with this monitor.
Do not plug in the video feed live.

Static is not your friend and if you have to order parts make sure the match is exact letters included. the wrong letter will get you a fet with slower response time.

have you found a monitor to swap? What size is the one you have? I have a WG19k4903 that has a great picture with very little screen burn, can take many pics if needed. Im looking for a 25" CRT if anyone has one.

Not working? Thanks but I'll pass.
