Well, i just got a millipede working and needed to replace the trackball.. The one in the game was working fine, it worked up and down fine, but the left and right were backwards.. when i moved the ball left, the guy would go right, and right would go left.. UP and down are fine.. I needed a new trackball anyways, as the old one was all rusted and gunky.. So, i get the new trackball setup today turn the game on, and same thing, my up and down are fine, but left and right are backwards.. Any help on how to fix this?? I have a friend coming over that says he can fix it, i just want to confirm the fix on here.. let me know if you can chime in on this, i'm sure it's an easy fix, but want to make sure i do it right.

Damn, that's about as confusing as trying to load VPIN mame... Come on, can someone give me a logical explanation?? I understand something on this harness isn't right, but reading throught that i can't even figure it out.. I'm not sure why the thing doesn't ship the way it's supposed to be set up.. Does everyone who has to replace their trackball run into this problem???

Pasted from the above link.

"Basically, if the combination of new & old optic pcbs along with new or old wiring harnesses are not giving you the proper direction of travel, you only need to swap outer wires to change direction and you never want to try to swap the red & black wires or insert the connector backward"

All that other mumbo jumbo is so unneccessary.. I appreciate the help.. I swapped the 2 wires and am now all set.. Thanks a ton..
