It took some time but I found a T&F cabinet and I also managed to pick-up a working Hypersports board set inside a hideous Zaxxon cabinet. I've debated having a dedicated cabinet for each game but for now I'm going to stick with a dual purpose cabinet.

The goal, cut a new cabinet and build a minty T&F cabinet from the ground up. My current T&F cabinet is missing most of the original metal parts with the exception of the control panel. However, it was dented but it does have the piece I really wanted...the control panel hinge.

I should have taken more pictures along the way but the cabinet is built, painted and I'm waiting for the clear coat to dry. It was such a nice day on Friday, I was able to strip the new control panel and get it painted.

And that is were this thread starts....I still have a lot of work ahead of me, including;

1. Strip down all metal parts. Paint or power coat?
2. Refurbish the Century coin door. Paint or power coat?
3. Install t-molding
4. Cut cardboard bezel
5. Order tinted plexiglass
6. Install monitor (no LCD in this cabinet)
7. Install wiring, electrical and PCB
8. Apply new sideart from PA
9. Apply new CPO from PA and install leaf buttons
10. Order NOS marquee

On your marks, get set...GO!

Got pics of the built cab? How did you transfer the dimensions? Just pencil and time, or did you disassemble your current T&F? This is where I really see why guys go for the CNC router. Obviously in it for the long run making many cabs on that route.

I used a flush trim bit on the router to mirror the sides. Internals are easy to copy...not saying it is 100% exact but 98% the way there. I would have disassembled the cabinet but honestly someone could use it...and it appears I will be selling the cabinet to a fellow KLOV'er for a restoration. Win-win.

I'll post some pictures this weekend...it has been crazy at work and home lately.
