you may or may not know that the world record holder is a member
here, he goes by FLY.
Also, EVB is a world class player, maybe a threat to take down the world
record as well.

my bests are:
8.60
9.72 or 9.73 cannot remember
98
10.71
99.45
2.47

Wow excellent times! Thank you for the information. By no means am I trying to take down the high score. Track & field has always been one of my favorites and probably always will be. I now own a machine and started to play again I was curious to how my times compared to others. The only thing I can find online is Twin Galaxies final highs, not event highs.

Don't worry FLY 'I'm not worthy of 95350'

I am also looking for a Hyper Sports machine, loved these games!

My bests are

100m - 8.70
long jump 9.72
javelin throw 92
110m hurdles 10.95
hammer throw 99.99
high jump 2.48

I'm sure many of you know, but the javelin and hammer throw roll over at 100. There have been so many times I've thrown the hammer over 100m... and when it rolls, you don't get credit for 100 either!! I've never thrown the javelin more than 92, but I saw someone do it once and he didn't qualify :(

I have never seen the hammer go over 100, that's awesome.

I have got 99.98 on other machines, over 20 years ago, but on my most recent
machine it was like 99.45 or 99.48 something like that.

according to FLY some boards only allow certain peaks on total distance.

My machine loves 92m with the hammer throw...just hit 96.8 tonight. Must have thrown hundreds of 92's.

Interesting comment about board peaks, I have two other boards. I'm going to try a different one.

99.4x or 99.9x can only happen on throw #2 or 3 if you didnt foul on the previous throw. AND it has to be a 45* throw on the upper sector line on the board that can hit 99.9x and lower line on the 99.4x board.

Edit: I guess I was wrong about the 99.9x having to be top line. Here's avid showing how to do it.

This may sound confusing so if you have any questions I'll give more details.

Here are my current best event scores.

100m 7.57
LJ 9.72 , but scored about 500 more with 9.49 x3. I got 1000pts bonus
Javelin 99.93
110 Hurdles 9.69
Hammer 99.99 but 99.49 on my machine
HJ 2.50 + 1000pt bonus

Thanks everyone for all your tips.
7.57 is mind blowing!..WOW all your times are awesome thank you for sharing FLY.

I was aware of the bonus for second consecutive throw or jump.
I have never seen the 1000pts bonus in long jump.
Looks like I need more pactice!

If you don't mind me asking how do you achieve such low times in the 100m and 110m hurdles?

I have an orginal Centuri/komani machine with leaf pushbuttons. Around here I'm hero of my own backyard but I couldn't touch 7.57sec....8.59sec. is all my poor bruised finger tips can handle.

I use 7 fingers on one button for the 100m. Here's a video of my World Record. Though it's not on this video, I use the same running technique on the Hurdles as I do on the LJ run-up. I tried something different and did pretty bad considering how well everything else went.

I just started playing this game a month ago and everyone in my clique is totally obsessed. Its the most played game on my 1xxx-1. We had to get a dry erase board for the records since this is one of the many games that shitty board doesnt save scores fore. I suck at Jav throw. I struggle getting past 80 meters. Whats the the ideal throwing angle?

Yeah, I use one button for the 100m.

As for the Javelin. There is no ideal angle. I've hit 99m with all angles between 39 all the way up to 49. I've had the most success with 42, 43 and 44 degrees though. Your first throw will never be your best. Go for distance on 2nd and 3rd throws. And a foul will effect the following throw negatively, so don't foul.
