The European Version of Track & Field (Hyper Olympic) comes in an ugly woodgrain cabinet. I'd like to add the T&F sideart, but the cabinet styles are different (therefore I can't simply buy the sideart reproductions). What I need to do is make the American sideart fit on the European version, but that's difficult without a proper sideart file ;)

Therefore I'm looking for the following:

Track & Field Sideart (Vector) File

PLUS I'm also looking for the Control Panel Overlay file because I need to make some changes there, too.

So if anyone helped me out here you would do me a huge favor!

THX!!!

I would contact Darin at phoenixarcade.com

He prints the artwork, so I'm sure he has the files. He may be able to help you out.

darin doesn't loan out files he's still producing - although i wouldn't use his files to "take a bite of the apple", i only need them as a template. no convincing possible though :(

Hi Superully,

I just got into arcade collection half a year ago and hope you'll be so kind to help me with a couple of questions.

I bought a cabinet (50,-euro) that's very similar to your Hyper Olympic.
It's a ADP TV Ideal (http://www.choppe.de/arcade/html/gallerie.html)
with 2x 3 (large) buttons and a Hyper Olympic PCB and Marque.
It almost looks the same as your accept for the control panel.
Yesterday i saw Hyper Sport control panel for sale and I'm thinking of buying it.

Do you know if we have the same cabs but with a different control panel?
Is it easy to install the control panel?
I'm also very interested in the side art, it would be very nice to cover some of that ugly wood;)

i hope you don't mind me asking you all these question but it's worth a try.

Hi Superrully,

Thank you for answering my question. i can't send you a PM (don't know what's the problem) so I'll just answer you here.

I totally agree with you about the ugliness of the cabinet, but it was cheap and I really like Track & Field.

It's nice to know we are talking about the same cabinet. I'm thinking of buying the control panel to make it look more 'original' or maybe I'll just put a 48-1 inside and put the PCB in one of my other cab's.

Anyway, thanks again and keep up the good work collecting all those beautiful games. I really liked your 5 in 1 road trip on Bruno's website!

Greetings from the Netherlands and look out for shoes ;)

Technopope was kind enough to send me the scan of the trackball version cpo. thx, man!

however, i'm still looking for the non-trackball version plus the sideart vectors. they have to be out there somewhere ...

still searching. could someone with a track & field machine and a good camera be kind enough and take high-quality pictures of the upper and lower artwork areas which i've cycled in the attached picture?
