UPDATED - NO LONGER AVAILABLE, THIS HAS BEEN PASSED ON TO ANOTHER KLOVER TO BE RETURNED TO T&F!

I have a Track & Field cab in Indianapolis up for grabs. It has been converted to jamma, not by me folks, so no hate mail. I just picked this thing up off the dirt and gave it a hug, and told it that everything is going to be all-right.

The cab is in solid shape, a small amount of wear at the bottom and the t-molding is starting to come loose at the back. The blue paint above the screen is starting to flake, but it is revealing perfect black paint underneath (I think the original for T&F). I'll bet it could be easily stripped off. The black card bezel/monitor shroud is ripped and needs replaced, but great monitor. The white coated sides are pretty nice actually, the plastic sheet coating protects pretty well! It just needs a bit of love, and it'll be running & long-jumping with the best of them.

Ideally, I'd like to swap this for a generic Dynamo or Data East cab in decent condition. I'm just using this as a jamma rig, so I'd be happy to swap with someone who'll turn it back into what it was meant to be! But hey, I'm open to other offers, give me a yell.

Hmm, nearly 2 weeks and nobody is interested.

Just for hell of it (and to see if I could pull it off) I did some work on this cab this weekend. The blue paint was flaking off, since it was painted over a black laminate. I decided to try my hand a stripping paint, since I'm going to have to strip the sides of my Gauntlet machine soon. Man, paint strips off this laminate super easy. I have now:

1. completely stripped all visible blue off this cab, revealing a perfect black laminate surface beneath.
2. replaced all the rusted carriage bolts with new stainless ones.
3. stripped and painted black all visible metal parts (except the cool Centuri coin door, it was so nice.)

This cab now looks damn good. Good news, all the remaining parts to turn this into Nastar Warrior arrived in the mail last week. I am about to install all of them -- tomorrow there will be no turning back for Track & Field. Anyone want to save this Track & Field cab from becoming a Nastar Warrior?

Pictures coming soon...

Bump to the top.

Seriously, this is a really nice Track & Field cab. If someone wants this, shoot me a PM. I'd be willing to pull all the Nastar Warrior stuff and sell it with the monitor included for $125. This has a really nice monitor. Or just the cab for $50.

Price lowered to $100 for the cab and monitor, or $40 for just the cab. I need to make some room!

Surely there are some T&F fans out there? I've already cleaned this cab up, it looks really nice.
