So I see a lot of posts about track and field but I never see anything about Hyper Sports or 88 games. I can see with 88 games having different looking characters but am I missing something when it comes to the two other titles? Just wondering what the allure is for T and F with minor noise about Hyper sports...

hyper sports is f___king awesome. I think most agree (that have played it)
and most will agree it's the superior game.

I did a full restore for mine.

The boards tend to go for $150-$200 for HS, whereas TF boards go for $60-$80 shipped.
I never even heard of HS until I got on this forum and I played a ton of games back in the day.
One of my great games for sure.

You are not alone brother, it's a kick a$$ game.

Just watch people that have never played HS before. Not getting passed the 2nd event and not knowing what to do or how the hell to pass it is why it's not as popular. But it is a far better game than T&F. Speed, skill and timing. A little edurance with decent speed to get through lifting in later rounds. It's got nice bonus points for perfect angles on TJ, perfect timing on polevault, all perfects on skeet etc, etc.

T&F is just easier for most to get into.

Is artwork available for a full restoration?

CPO, side art?

I recently posted my Track and Field find....and I'm excited about playing Hypersports as well. However, I have not seen a working Hypersports board on eBay in ages that was not $200. I have two boards myself that were described as not working but now its my understanding one of the boards might be functional (very long story).

Trust me, if the Hypersports board works it will get just as much play as Track & Field. I think the cost and difficulty finding the Hypersports PCB versus Track & Field limit discussion of the game.
